Samuel Lozano
March 4, 1950 - January 20, 2008
When Samuel wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time in his garden or with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed helping people and was always the first one there if a friend or family member needed help. Samuel passed away January 20th at his home. Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, January 24 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal. Burial will be at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane.
Born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Samuel moved to Dallas in 1967. He married his beautiful bride, Adriana Chavez, in 1971. Samuel is survived by his parents David and Floretina Lozano, seven brothers and sisters residing in Dallas, one sister residing in California, and was preceded in death by one brother. Samuel was extremely close to his six children, Armando, Samuel Jr., Adriana, David, Caroline, and Fernando and twelve grandchildren.
For part of his career, Samuel worked in construction. In 1989, Samuel began serving as the Facilities Director at Wesley-Rankin Community Center located near his home in West Dallas. His community will miss his smile and friendship.
